Believe like a Child by Paige Dearth

One of our Dolls has recently read Believe Like a Child by Paige Dearth. It's about a girl that is constantly being abused and taken advantage of during her lifetime. It starts out with Alyssa being seven years old and the abuse she faces at such a young age. This book will leaving crying at the traumatic times that she faces and jumping for joy in her small victories. It is a great read, but I could of done with out the explicit detail. Just for Warning this book contains, rape, drugs, prostitution, and explicit language. It's an amazing read but it will have you grabbing your tissues throughout the book. We rate the book 5 out of 5.
